Brand Story: Compost Crew

Maryland and DC

The day started before sunrise.

Ahead of me was a full-day shoot schedule across three local jurisdictions and five locations in the DMV to capture the unique brand story of the Compost Crew for their website and marketing materials that were in development. We would start at a composting facility, then visit multiple residential and business customers to capture their service in context, then close at headquarters to capture team headshots. Day two was a half-day to get a residential family setting, followed by a local farm visit.

Across the photos, we would see the story of our food, from leaving the farm, entering our homes and businesses, and then being composted at a facility! This project was so satisfying as we had an opportunity to craft a plan to tell the brand's story as we raced across the Beltway! And because I am friends with the design firm developing their materials, I knew they would use these images in the best way possible! Take a look at their website and follow me through this two-day shoot!
